THE ROYAL GYMNASTICS BOOSTER CLUB

The Royal Gymnastics Booster Club has now been back up and running for approximately one year now.  During 2007-2008, the Booster Club has hosted two fundraisers, which have been very successful.  The first fundraiser we participated in was the sale of coupon books.  Each book sold for $20.00, giving an approximate profit of $12.00 each.  The second fundraiser we participated in was through Tupperware.  Tupperware has provided a special catalog for fundraising, of which 40% of the profits go to the gymnast who sold such Tupperware.  Both of those fundraisers raised money for the individual gymnast who participated in the fundraiser. 

The Booster Club is also collecting old, used and broken cellular phones, ink cartridges, toner cartridges, and the like.  The proceeds received from this fundraiser will go towards the Booster Club. 

The upcoming 2008-2009 season brings the opportunity for new fundraisers.  One of the new ideas for this year is selling forest fresh wreaths for the holidays.  We do plan to continue the Tupperware sales, so be on the lookout for more information about that.  For those of you familiar with the Tupperware fundraiser, take a look at the fundraiser catalog online at:  www.tupperware.com and shop the product gallery by catalog.

Please inquire at the gym on how you can raise money for your child to help go towards anything gymnastics related.

Please don't forget the Booster Club is still looking for pictures of your gymnast.  The Booster Club would like to cover the walls with pictures of our gymnasts either hard at work, in competition or accepting an award.  Please put copies of any and all photos you would like to add to the collage in the Booster Club Box.

The Booster Club Box is a line of communication between the parents and the Booster Club.  Any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns can be placed in the box and the Booster Club will respond accordingly.  The box is located in the waiting room area.
